Re:Run

Re:Run is a Game where the player creates the level themselves just by playing.

The player is looping repeatedly through the same level. However, every time the level is completed and the player reaches the goal, a clone of the player starts chasing them.

This clone remembers the movements of the player's last run and copies them for itself. Upon hitting a clone, the player dies and gets sent back to the spawn. In this way, the path the player took in the last run, becomes an obstacle for the player in the next one.

These clones do not despawn. So, while only one clone is chasing the player after the first round, after the 10th round the player will have to maneuver around 10 of their past selves.

To help the player avoid past routes taken, they get to place a Block into the world every three rounds they finish. This lets them open up new paths and provides a temporary safe haven from their vicious doubles.
